JacobSix IM Bot

The IM Bot allows you to access your workbook actions, projects, top actions, and closed actions for a given project.  This is very fast and very powerful as you do not have to go to the web site in order to see what you need to work on.

Supported Commands

Note: Some commands may only be available in the alpha version.  Check the Beta Page for details.

/workbook : Returns the top 10 actions in your workbook.  This list is sorted by due date and then priority and is across all projects.

/projects : Returns the list of your projects.  Each project has a number next to it, which you can use for the /top and /closed commands.

/set [project #] : Sets the selected (or default) project.  /add and /message will use this project by default.

/selected : Returns the selected/default project.

/add [action summary] : Adds a new action to the project with the given summary.

/message [message body] : Posts the message to the project with the given message body.

/top [project #] : Returns a list of the top 25 actions in the project.  For example, type "/top 2" to return actions for project 2.  If a default project is selected using the /set command, you can leave off the project #.

/close [action #] : Closes the action given by the index number.  Use the /top command to get a list of top actions and index numbers.

/closed [project #] : Returns a list of the top 25 recently closed actions in the project.  If a default project is selected using the /set command, you can leave off the project #.

/help : Shows you a list of commands available.

Future Commands

/details [action #] : Provides action details.
